We stopped for lunch today, second experience , and sat at the high tops , by far the absolute best service , our waitress was quite exceptional . great quality feedback and menu knowledge. Detailed opinion , loved the service . Loved the experience I got the Greek pita bang bang shrimp . And fish tacos mahi mahi the shrimp was a little to thick of a cut for my liking, everything else was great

I Love this place! It has great food, and in my opinion the best wings around! We came for the live dj that they had and it was a great time. The atmosphere was definitely upbeat and the vibes were just right. The music was a great mix! They do also have great gluten-free options as well which is a big plus.

I have NEVER had a bad meal from Schooners... I've lived here for over a year and have gone about five times. This review HAD TO HAPPEN bc I only waited 10 minutes for my order to go and it's tastier than fast food. Good luck with parking, even on weeknights. Go early.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Newport News. Food is great and they make great drinks with amazing prices compared to most place I have gone to! They also have a great out for patio that's bigger than most. It is a played back environment with a great crowd and vibe. It's definitely my go to when I want to go out to eat.

The place has a nice atmosphere for families or individuals. With the outside bar and sitting areas, nice summer vibe. The food was good. Shrimp cooked well and was not tough or chewey. The blackened crab cake is spicy, and the fries are crispy. The tater tots were potatoes cut in cubes, but they were seasoned good. Friendly and fast service.

My man and I choose this spot for a late lunch and we're very pleased with everything. The food was amazing and fresh. We will definitely be back
